The Research Management Agency provides support for research strategies, carrying out project management, contract and research support activities for researchers at the University of Salamanca. In this regard, the Agency functions as a service that works in coordination with the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) of the University, whose goals include managing the application phase for European projects and contracts, and for collaborative projects with businesses, in addition to pursuing activity policies designed to promote research and technology transfer.
The current socioeconomic framework, as well as the regional, state and international level RD&I policies, compel us to further our research structures and implement mechanisms to facilitate the management of our research projects. To this end, the research Agency is currently undergoing a restructuring process to improve its management structure for international projects and to coordinate audits which now comprise one hundred percent of projects submitted to various calls.
In addition to providing support services for managing projects, contracts and research aid, the Research Management Agency aims to coordinate the management of its own research programmes, the dissemination of open calls, and the administrative justification of subsidies received.
The Research Management Agency is working on implementing a one-stop shop system to provide improved services to our researchers and to more swiftly respond to their needs.
The Agency is committed to the principles of efficiency, quality and scientific excellence, with a view to provide better service every day to the researchers at the University of Salamanca.
